Affiliate Agreement
Furb Program Terms for Affiliates
If an affiliate is caught violating the terms of our agreement we may reverse commissions, remove an affiliate from the program, and (or) reverse all future commissions for as long as the affiliate is violating our program terms.
Furb (www.furb.com) may reverse commissions for returned merchandise, misuse of coupon codes, fraud, or any sale made in violation of our affiliate terms.
Application Process:
We do not allow affiliates to join our program through multiple networks simultaneously. We reserve the right to reject any application.
Affiliates must not break any laws when promoting products for Furb. This includes compliance with but not limited to:
1. The CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 when sending emails with links to Furb. A copy can be found here: http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/PLAW-108publ187/pdf/PLAW-108publ187.pdf

Affiliate websites may not:
1. Contain inappropriate content. This may include content that we consider to be obscene, harmful, or pornographic.
2. Contain any viruses, Trojan horses, or any other programs designed to harm visitors or gather their data without their permission.
3. Inject affiliate tracking cookies into a visitor’s computer without sending them to a landing page within furb.com.
4. Solicit within their own state if their state is using affiliates as a means of establishing a tax nexus. With the exception of California.
Prohibition against solicitation for residents in nexus states:
Affiliates may not engage in any solicitation or promotional activities within the state of Missouri. (Hereafter referred to as “nexus states”) The only form of promotion allowed by Furb to residents of these states is providing links from the affiliate’s own website to furb.com. No other promotional activities are allowed by Affiliates within these states. Activities prohibited include but are not limited to distribution of any printed materials referring people to furb.com, engaging in any verbal communication referring people to furb.com. Using any website that is not the affiliate’s own web site to place links to furb.com. This includes social media sites and other content hosting sites that are not owned by the affiliate. Residents of these states must submit an affidavit of compliance once a year by December 31st in order to stay within the program.
Use of Affiliate links.
Once accepted into the Program, you can use any of the links provided to you through the network. Altering links is prohibited. You may only link to us through domains that are listed in your affiliate profile. You may not engage in cookie stuffing or include pop-ups, false or misleading links.
You may not attempt to prevent the referring page information from being seen by the affiliate networks. If we discover affiliate links to our website that hide their original source, the affiliate may be removed from the program and we may reverse commissions if we cannot see the referring link that lead to the sale.
Keyword Restrictions:
You may not place any pay-per-click bids on any terms that include the use of the words Furb, Furb.com, Furb coupons, Furb.com coupons, Furb promo code or any other combination of words that contain the word Furb. To prevent a keyword containing the term “Furb” from triggering an ad we suggest you add “Furb” as a broad negative keyword match.
Linking Restrictions:
You may not link directly to any page at furb.com using a PPC campaign. All links must first be directed the affiliates web site(s).
You may not post any affiliate link on any of our social media pages which are managed by Furb staff.
Affiliates may have their own affiliate programs but may not allow their affiliates to bypass their site to send traffic directly to furb.com without first visiting their own site. Affiliates may not pay commissions or compensate their affiliates for links directed to any page within furb.com as a landing page.
Use of Furb Coupons:
Affiliates may only publish furb.com coupon/promo codes that are provided through the affiliate program or authorized by Furb for use by affiliates, or displayed prominently on our website. Commission generating coupon/promo codes are not to be posted on coupon or code sites.
Publishing coupon codes obtained from customer e-mails, social media, print media, or any other publication by Furb other than those codes that are displayed on our website is strictly prohibited.
Any transactions using coupon codes that we have not authorized by use for affiliates or published on our site will receive a commission of zero. In addition, any affiliate that publishes a prohibited coupon code will be notified of the violation and will forfeit all future commissions until a Furb team member has determined that the site is no longer publishing the prohibited coupon code.
Late Entry:
No commission paid on commissioned clicks that happen within 5 minutes of a transaction.
Use of “Furb” within domain names:
Use of the word “furb” within any domain or subdomain name created by affiliates with links to furb.com is strictly prohibited.
